Maroon 5's New Album Should Be a Strong Selling Album

Forget global warming and all the gas sputtering from former Vice President Al Gore’s mouth. This summer is going to be hotter than ever and it will not be due to the ozone depletion or any of the other 10,000 things Gore wants us to believe.

May through August will leave everyone, especially women, dripping in sweat because one of our favorite bands of 2004, Maroon 5, is releasing their sophomore album, It Won’t Be Soon Before Long, on May 22.

In 2002, Maroon 5 blew everyone out of the water with their debut album, Songs About Jane, which contained hit songs like “This Love” and the unforgettable “She Will Be Loved.” The album went on to sell over 10 million copies world-wide in addition to winning Maroon 5 the 2005 Grammy for Best New Artist.

The new album, It Won’t Be Soon Before Long, promises to thrive in that same vein of pop meets a little rock music that made fans everywhere pine for Maroon 5. The main difference between the group’s first album and this one is that It Won’t Be Long promises to be a little stronger and a lot sexier.

“It’s definitely aggressive, upbeat and pounding,” says front man Adam Levine of his group’s new album.

If there is one thing for certain it is that with the steamy Adam Levine at the helm, the group is sure to make listeners forget all about the competition. The rest of the California based group are James Valentine, guitar, Jesse Carmichael, keyboards, Micky Madden, bass and Matt Flynn, drums.

The first single off It Won’t Be Soon Before Long is “Makes Me Wonder,” so y’all get busy driving the DJ crazy requesting it and we will race you to the record store on May 22 to buy the first copy.
