Toronto Ontario, Canada--
“Crush” a befitting name for one of the best Bistro style Wine Bar of it’s kind!
Entering “Crush” gave our staff the distinct feeling of being in the East Village in New York City. We realized we were in Toronto, Ontario on King Street West. Mr. Jamieson Kerr, owner of Crush warmly greeting us.
This stunning restaurant is housed in a bricked styled brownstone. Above the entrance way, hundreds of corks were artfully perched on a shelf. Through out the restaurant, posters were hanged depicting various themes associated with wine, a very nice touch. Bistros styled lighting were softly lit surrounding the guest in a pleasant haze. The beautiful wooded floors and tan bricked walls were pleasing to the eye. Huge windows overlook Crush's open patio below, a visual masterpiece in itself. The open kitchen was alive with chefs busy tending to the creation of delectable dishes for your dining pleasure.
The wait staff was dressed in blush colored tailored shirts, with black aprons. Even their shirts reminded you of a blush wine. Fresh flowers were found adorning the tables along with with a clean crisp white linen.
