Our staff has seen the good and bad of the spa and salon business and when we walked into SpaVA, we did not know what to expect other than what we heard from readers that suggested we check this place out and by the time we were finished we were glad we did.

The first thing that comes to mind when you step inside of the doors is the down home feeling that staff exhibits. They truly care about your patronage and whether you are just here for a pedicure or an afternoon of services, they will treat you like royalty.

One feature we really liked about the facility was their unique treatment rooms. Every room offers something different from vibrant and comfy furniture to a rustic brick wall from the original Kroger Grocery store, the building was attached to a number of years ago. The sky light feature in one of the massage rooms will certainly have you feeling like you’re on Cloud 9 after any treatment.

Our Swedish massage was one of the most relaxing we have had in sometime. They care about whether you really want to come and de-stress, relax, rejuvenate with this treatment. The Swedish is available in 30 and 60 increments and this time of year if you combine it with their pumpkin facials special, it is a way to melt away the stress of a hard work week.

What we most liked about Spa VA other than experiencing the massage was the amount of selections that you have for massage or facials. They offer 5 packages that include some of their signature services with a combination for everyone.

If you have ever wanted to check out the medical side of a spa, Spa Va has some of the most modern treatments that include of glycolic, lactic, citric and salicylic acids to peel away dead cells and expose younger, fresher, healthier looking skin. In addition, the acids help stimulate collagen production while promoting healing from within. Peels help modify wrinkles, decrease hyper pigmentation and dry out active acne. Peels are done in a series and progressively get stronger.

We highly recommend taking advantage of their state of the art skin analysis screening. This machine will take a photo of your face and detirmine where damage to the skin has taken place and also help them analyze the way to restore some of damaged areas.

After you have finished with you spa services, we highly encourage you to work out in their full gym area, which has some of the most modern circuit machines and free weights the business offers. They also have full-staffed trainers on hand to create a workout to match your liking. They also offer fitness classes to both members and those just looking for a full workout experience. Hours are also convenient 4am to Midnight.
