The All American Rejects are exploding onto the music scene with their sophomore album,
Move Along.
The first track off the album, “Dirty Little Secret” is guaranteed to have everyone blowing radio speakers and thinking about the skeletons they keep in their own closet, and the video is pretty hot as well.
Fusing quite possibly the best drumming around with contagious vocals and daring guitar riffs, the Rejects are showing the world what pop music should sound like, so wave goodbye to pop tartlets like Britney and Ashlee and shout adios to the vocal stylings of Ryan Cabrera. Pop rock is making its return with The All American Rejects and their album, Move Along.
The sixth track off the album, Night Drive, is percussion perfection as it blends an awesome drum beat with guitars that beg you to get off your ass and do something. “Stab My Back” provides listeners with any proof they might need that the Rejects can sing as well as play their instruments, a talent that is lost on a great deal of today’s bands. The album’s ballad, It Ends Tonight, proves to be just as good as every other song on Move Along and shows listeners that the Rejects can shine with the slow songs as well as the upbeat, faster songs.
The All American Rejects are Tyson Ritter (vocals, bass), Nick Wheeler (guitars, keyboards, programming), Mike Kennerty (guitar), Chris Gaylor (drums) and everyone of them are bringing the bad boy-punk image back to the pop rock scene. The All American Rejects prove to be fearless and groundbreaking with their sound on Move Along.
The boys from Stillwater, Oklahoma, are here to stay and they prove it with
Move Along, an album that dares you to try and turn it off. Hell, I dare you to try to turn it off because you cannot. Go out and buy Move Along as soon as possible, you will have it worn out in a week and you still will not be tired of listening to it.
