Alexandria, VA--Danielia Cotton is the “Hottest” new soul-rock singer to hit the music industry, with her soaring voice and her soulful guitar work, Danielia wants to let the music industry know that she has arrived. From gut-wrenching rock, to majestic soul, one can only listen in amazement and awe as the talented Cotton presents her music with love and open arms.
Our staff was given the opportunity to check her out at The Birchmere and let us tell you, you may have heard about “Hype” when it comes to some artists in the music industry, but there is no “Hype” about Danielia, this girl is good.
Cotton’s new CD titled, "Small White Town,"which was produced and co-written by fellow songwriter Kevin Salem, has captured the essence of Danielia's musical genius onto this CD. Danielia's says her inspiration as an artist comes from musical legends such as Janis Joplin, Bonnie Raitt and Tina Turner, likely comparisons are inevitable.
Danielia performed music from her new CD “Small White Town” and she said that the title of the album comes a product of music of how she was raised on a tree-shaded street in New Jersey, on the outskirts of Hopewell, an actual "small white town."
Once in a while, an artist talent outstrips the "Hype," as is the case with Danielia Cotton, she’s an artist that is quickly making a name for herself without the "Hype." Her show is a great one and fans will go home mesmerized with the talent she brings on the stage with her music.
