Dallas Cowboys Break Training Camp Head Into Monday Night Match-Up Against Seattle With Few Tune-Ups Needed

As Monday night looms over the Cowboys many fans wonder what will be the biggest part of the Cowboys 2005 team that needs to be improved before the start of the regular season, quarterbacks!
Drew Henson who has been battling Tony Romo for the back-up role will see action as the second quarterback in the game against Seattle. Head Coach Bill Parcells expects Henson to also take some snaps behind the starting line on Monday night.
While some believe that Romo should have the second quarterback spot over Henson, Parcells seems confident that Henson is his man as the second quarterback despite a stronger outing by Romo in the game against Arizona on August 13th, where Romo was a strong 8 for 10 in passing with 71 yards. Henson was 6 for 13 for 64 yards.
"We're just working him," Parcells said. "He is day to day." I don't have anything dramatic to tell you, we'' see what he does against Seattle. Guess we will and we will also know who sits the pine for most of the season as well.
The other area going into the Monday Night game that Parcells would like to focus on is the running game and more hands on the ball for Anthony Thomas.
The offensive line looks to be the strongest the Cowboys have seen a few seasons and if they want to protect starting quarterback Drew Bledsoe and they also want to win some games this season as well in the first few weeks of the season.
Thomas who carried the ball just one time against Arizona should touch the ball and hope provide a little more productivity than the zero yards he gained on his only carry in the Arizona game.
One other problem Parcells and the Cowboys will have to worry about is the loss of kicker Billy Cundiff, who will be out 3-4 weeks with a hip injury that he suffered on Saturday afternoon. Jose Cortez will handle the kicking duties on Monday night and likely will remain as the Cowboys kicker throughout the remainder of the pre-season and even into the opening weekend.
