Washington, DC—
The day before Training Camp opens it is all about photos
and questions for NBA teams and one team in particular the Washington Wizards,
you just never know what you are going to see or hear before the season starts…
Today’s attitude, upbeat and ready to start a new.. No more canes and braces
walking around the locker room, no more next year and no more when is Gilbert
coming back. That was 08, this is the 09 and its time for the Wizards to step
up or step out with what they have.
With the new faces in place such as Mike Miller and Fabricio
Oberto, both bring veteran experience to the court and should be a nice addition
to Gilbert, DeShawn and Caron in the front court. It might be the first time
that the Wizards have had a balanced bench since they had Jarvis Hayes and
Roger Mason Jr. used to provide some help in the scoring column.
Overall, going into the first day of Training Camp in
Richmond, it looks as if Wizards can stay healthy they should provide a
balanced attack on the court at all times which will certainly help keep up
with the new look Cavaliers and of course the Celtics.
First chance to see
these guys comes October 6th as they take on Allen Iverson and the
Memphis Grizzlies at the Siegel Center on the Campus of VCU.
