When the Wizards offense shows up, there probably are not too many teams in the NBA that could match the five players the Wizards have in the starting line-up. When their offense takes the night off, it is anyone's guess as to what the final results of the game might be. Tonight, offense shows up, Wizards win 121-109.

Charlotte did give the Wizards 18, 853 fans a case of quick heartburn when they cut the lead from 17 points to six with 2:18 remaining. A quick time-out by Head Coach Eddie Jordand and a Arenas bucket after the time-out game Bernie Bickerstaff's team little hope of staging more of a comeback.

The Wizards were led by Gilbert Arenas who dominated again with 33 points, 10 assists, Caron Butler added 24 points and 7 rebounds and Antwan Jamison 22 points, for some of the best well rounded night of scoring the entire season.

"Tonight we just got it going," Arenas said. "Everybody was sharing the ball, everyone was making shots and we feel good about ourselves. The way we played today, offensively, that's the way we finished last season. Scoring points, getting out and getting steals, getting deflections, that's how we played."

Tomorrow night, the Wizards hit the road to face the Chicago Bulls and they also have to hit the court just as hard as they did tonight or they 0-8 road record will likely stay just like it is, a big goose egg in the win column.

The Bobcats were led by rookie of the month for November, Adam Morrison (23 points, 10-of-18 shooting) and guard Brevin Knight (22 points, nine assists) each scored 14 first-half points for the Bobcats, who shot 59.5 percent in the half. Again this team has plenty of talent to win games, but still has the NBA's worst record at 4-12 and are tied for 27th in scoring with an average of 92.1 points per game.
