The experience at Scandals starts with its owner and general manager Melissa Sosin. Her attitude and bright smile makes her one the movers and shakers in the Las Vegas Salon and Day Spa market. She has this spa filled with energetic employees that really love their job and the quality of the finished product reflects that. When you purchase a spa package, you will not leave disappointed or with a rushed feeling, you will leave satisfied and with a few new friends that will welcome you next visit back to Scandals.

Our services that were chosen for us to review by Melissa, included a European Facial, Swedish Massage, Pedicure and Manicure and a little Reflexology to end the morning of pleasure.

At Scandals, one personal touch that they offer is their experience with everything they provide. Our European Facials by both Dania and Faye were completed by employees who care about you and your body, not the clock.

Each one of the facials lasted the entire hour and a detailed explanation of each step of the facial and the products applied to each of our faces. was given during the duration. With the European Facial, you are going to get a cleanser like no other. Both of our technicians made sure that the pore were opened and cleaned properly.

After the cleansing process a gentle exfoliation of the skin was the next process of the facial. It was combined with a relaxing massage of the upper back and shoulders. Half way through the facial, the technicians had us so relaxed, they almost put both of us to sleep.

While most people opt for the very popular European Facial, Scandals offers four other selections in the Refresher, Back and Biodrain Facials as well as the Echo 2 Oxygen Treatment, which combines oxygen gas along with vitamins and minerals and is propelled onto the skin cells.

One of the best features about any of the facials offers are their prices. While it is not uncommon to pay $120 and up for a facial at any of the locations on the Las Vegas Strip, the facials at Scandals start at $65 for a one hour European Facial that our staff received and all facials are in the $75 to $80 price range depending on the services involved. All of the facials along with the massages listed in our review can be added to the Full Day Spa package just like we received.

Just when you though you day couldn't get any more relaxed, wait until either Suzi or Kaz gets a hold of your body and puts their extensive massage skills to work. After both had finished our Swedish Massages, they practically coined an entirely new meaning for relaxed. All of the muscles on our bodies were in an entirely relaxed state.

Both Suzi and Kaz have brought Scandals one its biggest assets again, their quality level of service and talent and know how of to massage the tense area. I was surprised at some of the problem areas Suzi found that other massage therapists missed. Suzi even took the time to point out why she was working each part of my back and arms and the end result was amazing. She even hinted that some people are paying double at Strip Casinos for he on-call massages compared to what she charges at Scandals.

If you like a harder and deeper approach to massage and want someone who knows what it takes to combine three different massages in one, then we highly recommend giving Kaz a shot a rejuvenating your morning or afternoon. We can ensure your entire body will thank you for days to come once he is complete. His Swedish massage combines a bit of stress relieving and deep tissue techniques to ensure you are getting all of what the body needs. He is another one of those employees that Melissa has hired which if he doesn't have another appointment scheduled, he will take the extra time to go the extra mile with the back, arms and legs.

Once you have taken care of the face and body, do not forget about the wonderful pedicure and manicure services Scandals has to offer. Again we found the staff to be very courteous and they seem to have a bond between each other that is often not found at many other spas and salons. They also have a very low turnover ratio for their employees, hence the family like atmosphere flowing all over the entire salon.

Both the pedicure and manicure services were more than most salons offer and you did not have to smell that awful nail smell the entire time while we were here. Melissa has also done a great job keeping Scandals looking new and fresh, lets say keeping up with the Jones when it comes to spas in Vegas.

Gaetane and Les certainly know how to work the feet. They aren't just concerned about looking at your toes, but the want the feet to feel relaxed as well. Les combined some reflexology with his Pedicure and Gaetane was very detailed as to what she was doing with Erin's feet and toes.

We certainly the importance of great looking fingernails and so do Veronica and Emma. Both have a long standing relationship with not only Melissa, but each one of their clients. They take the time to explain what would be best for your nails, then they go to work on them offering some of the best results you will see for your money. Whether you want the polished look or the details on the nails, Scandals has the talent to make it happen.

If you are looking for a full reflexology treatment, which we must say is a welcome addition with Judy making you feel like family once again as she works the kinks out of your hands.

If you want to have your hair done as well, you have come to the right place. With more stations for hair to be done than lanes at a bowling alley, Scandals not only has the talent, but the quality work area to have it done just like you see on the pages of the magazines.

Another feature that Sosin discussed with us is the tattoo art that they plan on adding. With this addition they will be the only Salon and Spa in Las Vegas to offer tattooing options. Right now Sosin has a hot new trend, with tattoo make-up that is applied to the eyes for customers who do not want to deal with eyeliner every day.

As we were finishing our services, Sosin filled us in on the Bridal Packages Scandals offers. Since Scandals is one of the top destinations in Vegas before that "Big Day." Everything from the "Bridal Escape" package, to the "For The Groom" Package are available and once again the prices are amazing. From $48 for the groom package, to $220 for the Bridal Escape, which includes a full body massage, full facial, manicure, pedicure, and a trial make-up application... a great value for all that is offered. We compared all of this at a Strip Salon and Spa and the total was $425.
