Las Vegas, NV--
If you are looking for one of the hottest places that combines a club atmosphere and gaming, look no farther then the new Playboy Club that opened at the Palms Resort. If you thought Rain and Ghostbar were cool, nothing is as cool as playing blackjack in a club, looking at some of the most beautiful dealers in a bunny suits and chasing after some of the hottest women in Las Vegas all under one roof.
The retro-costumed bunnies are dealers at 10 blackjack tables in the club, which has a capacity of 500. Cocktail servers don the new Roberto Cavalli-designed outfits which were unveiled last November. Just like the Maloof's have done with their other clubs, they are certianly making this the place to be night after night. Prior to our visit, Britney Spears played blackjack on a Friday night and then returned on Saturday night. Not a bad celebrity to have in your club during the first month of opertation.
Under a new law, the Playboy Club will be the first Nevada casino to offer gaming in an area charging admission. Maloof worked more than three years with the Nevada Gaming Commission, the Gaming Control Board and Nevada Resort Association to pass the legislation. We can say it is well worth it as they machines seem to be paying very well and the tables weren't bad either.
After you have selected a place to have a drink at one of their multi bars, take a look out thier floor to ceiling views, again creating one of the best views of Las Vegas, well that is until you step upstairs to Moon.
While Moon is considered a separate venue than the Playboy Club, a short escalator ride give you even more access to the hottest place in Las Vegas. How many clubs anywhere have a retractable roof for those hot and steamy nights this club is sure to produce.
The first Playboy Club opened in 1960 and enjoyed a rapid expansion throughout the '60s and '70s. The last clubs in New York Chicago and Los Angeles closed in 1986. It is great to see that the Maloofs have recreated a part of entertainment history. What better way then to combine one of the best known men's magazines and one of the best men's hang-outs in the nation, Las Vegas.
After your night at the club, stop by the Playboy Boutique for sexy gifts and Playboy products and co-branded Palms merchandise created exclusively for this location
For parties of 10 or more be sure to ask for Ehrlich Livingston, VIP Host of the 9 Group at the Playboy Club and Moon.
